The Digital Forum - a workshop for digital innovation

The Digital Forum, based in Colombelle's EffiScience Science Park, is a 1,000m2 facility dedicated to digital innovation and information and communication technology.

The Digital Forum:

The Digital Forum is a Caen la Mer initiative. Its management and coordination are ensured by Synergia, the urban community's economic development agency. The facility includes:

- An area devoted to business accommodation and to developing innovative projects in the digital field: e-secure transactions project incubator, business incubator and business centre.

- An area open to professionals and reuniting a training room, a showroom, the "Cogitarium" creativity room, a co-working area and a telepresence room.

It has a multiple vocation:

• as a resource centre for businesses, to enable them to access shared services and technologies,
• as a training and familiarisation centre on these new technologies,
• as a demonstration and promotional tool for services, new consumer usage and local skills,
• as a source of encounters and advice for regional businesses,
• as a satellite office for the Echangeur de Basse-Normandie and Novea,
• as a venue propitious to competitiveness and brainstorming.


The Digital Forum's partners are as follows: Echangeur de Basse-Normandie, Pôle Aten, TES e-secure transactions competitiveness cluster, Nove@ rural centre of excellence and I2N (Digital Innovations in Normandy- Lower Normandy Regional Council).
